BUFFET TABLE (BEFORE/AFTER)

My mom found this buffet/console table on the side of the road. She asked someone to help her load it into her suv. I tried to strip it. Wasn't successful. It didn't really matter because when you use Annie Sloan paint you don't have to prep. It needed some serious washing and cleaning though. I applied the Country Grey and tried to stain the top but it didn't work well so I mixed clear glaze and a dark brown paint and painted the top with it. I then watered down the glaze and brushed it all over the piece. I took the knobs off...sprayed them with dark brown...flipped them upside down and put them back on. I think it turned out pretty amazing! It was a mess when I got it.

WALL LAMP (BEFORE/AFTER)

I found this lamp on the west coast at a resale store. I was so thrilled to find this. It is AWESOME! I forgot to take a picture of lamp prior to painting it so you can see the circular piece of wood that is used to hang it. Looking at that piece of wood you'll see the orginal color of the lamp. I painted this in Annie Sloan chalk paint, Old White and applied the dark wax to give it an aged look. LOVE IT!!!

COFFEE TABLE (BEFORE/AFTER)

This table has been painted in Annie Sloan Country Grey and Old White. It was finished off with a coat of clear wax. This piece is for sale. Dimensions are 46"long, 26" wide, 16" high. $89.00

BREAD BOX (BEFORE/AFTER)

I bought this from a cute little store on the west coast of Florida. I thought I would fix it up and give to my sister for her birthday last summer. It turned out great! Annie Sloan chalk paint, Paris Grey and dark wax.

SMALL SIDE TABLE (BEFORE/AFTER)

My sister gave this to me. This was a great table I could try new techniques on. My father past away not to long ago and he was an amazing musician/singer. I have many hymnal books that were a part of his collection and I wanted to use some of the music and put it on furniture. This was the perfect table to do so. I love how it turned out and decided to give it back to my sister for Christmas. I painted it in the Annie Sloan chalk paint, Old White and then put the dark wax on top of it. It's a cute table.

GREY STENCILED END TABLE (BEFORE/AFTER)

This piece was being thrown away at Salvation Army. It was missing a drawer so I think thats why they were throwing it out. I saw the potential. I put a piece of wood where the drawer would've gone and painted it in Annie Sloan chalk paint, Paris Grey. Then I thought I'd have fun with it and stenciled the top with old white. Finished it with a wax and now it's come to life again! I love this piece...my sister did too. It's being used as an end table.
